Rise and Shine SEO was created by me, Tim Sorweid, who wanted to find a way to help small business owners reach their ultimate goal of being self reliant and happy with their decision to start a business in the first place.
A bit about me. I have been involved with computers for over half of my life and consider the internet to be my 2nd parent as it was an integral part of my development as a person and professional. I’ve always been fascinated with the web be it online video games, hilarious viral videos, or just wasting time looking up useless information; however, my life was changed when I first made an online purchase through eBay in 1999. I then understood the power of the internet as a place for commerce, marketing, and profit.
I went on to graduate from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, with a BS in Computer Science, emphasis in Computer Information Systems, and began my career as a web developer. I left the land of beer and cheese for the land of milk and honey, California, to further pursue my dreams when I landed at a web based company with over 1,000,000 page views on their sites daily and 80,000 paying customers a year.
While working my way up to Director of Web Development, I was tasked with generating new organic traffic via search engine placement when I first realized my talent with SEO. Over the course of three months, I boosted our traffic from search engines such as Google, Yahoo, MSN, and more by 150%. Needless to say in a 1,000,000 hit a day company, thats a BIG return.
I then started applying my trade to other ventures, my brothers resume writing business, Right Foot Resume, as well as other sites and have been able to rise to the 1st page in google in every attempt. Search Engine traffic to RightFootResume.com has increased significantly and tripled my brother’s profits within weeks.
I have a passion for search engine optimization (though it may sound funny) because I am fascinated with the algorithm of the major search engines, how my changes can make positive impact in their listings, and ultimately provide the user with what he/she is searching for. I understand how the search engines think and know what they seek in other websites for first page listings because I’ve seen it work first hand.
It is now my passion to help grow the organically generated search engine traffic for business owners who don’t have the time or ability to optimize their sites themselves. I do the research. I do the work. I create results quickly. I’m a person just like you who has a skill and wants to use this skill to help others. I go the extra mile to make sure my work produces results because I care and know that you care.
